Our Vision
At Farthinghoe, we are a whole school community. A place, in which children are listened to and encouraged to be curious. A place where everyone feels safe and supported. Our children are empowered to change their own lives and the lives of those around them. They are encouraged to stand up and become pillars of the community, have a voice and make a difference.
Through our school values of, Be Kind, Be Resilient, Be Brave, Be You, we will be good role models; role models who inspire through a love of learning and are motivated to make a positive impact on each other’s lives. Together, we will continually strive to remove the barriers to success and fear of failure.
We will provide a culture of mutual respect and acceptance. With children moving onto their next adventure with the skills and values to set them on the path to achieve their dreams. Our school community will take pride in leading the children of Farthinghoe Primary School on their journey - both educational and for life; enabling them to drive their own futures to greater success and shape our diverse community for the better.

Why choose Farthinghoe Primary School for your child?
- Our class sizes are small - Because our adult : pupil ratio is high, children receive a highly-personalised learning experience.
- Our classes are mixed-age - Research strongly supports the idea that mixed-age classrooms are better for pupils. Not only do pupils out-perform peers of the same age academically, studies also show that they thrive socially.
- Our pupils' academic achievement - Our pupils academic achievement consistently exceeds county-wide and national performance data. Recent destination schools for our pupils have included Chenderit School Middleton Cheney, Magdalen College School Brackley, Warwick School, Royal Latin School Buckingham and Stratford-Upon-Avon Girls Grammar School.
- Our staff - Our team is passionate, professional and highly committed to providing the very best for our pupils. Because of our small school community we are able to offer open and regular communication between parents/carers, pupils and staff.
- Our nurturing environment - Mixed age classes mean children are encouraged to care for and support each other, a skill which they learn for life and which helps to create a wonderfully positive environment for all.
- Our links with the community - We are proud to be a member of the Warriner Multi Academy Trust which we chose to become a member of in September 2018. By being part of the trust we are able to retain our unique learning environment and at the same time offer wider learning opportunities to our pupils.
- Our Ofsted report - We are exceptionally proud of our most recent Ofsted report which rates us as 'Outstanding'.
We enable our pupils to flourish as individuals and to have all the foundations to become confident and responsible adults.
“Pupils' excellent behaviour contributes much to the school's happy, calm and nurturing learning environment” – Ofsted February 2015
