Farthinghoe Primary School is a Music Mark School Member....
Music is an extremely important part of our learning at Farthinghoe Primary School.
Many of our children enjoy private music tuition during the school day, which is provided by Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust. Children enjoy 10 minute lessons once a week with a range of instruments - from guitar to viola.
With such a strong emphasis on music, we are over joyed to be recognised as a Music Mark member. Music Mark commented "We would like to thank you for all the hard work you and your colleagues do to ensure that pupils at your school are able to access and engage with a high-quality music education. Your dedication to offering and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum is both welcomed and celebrated."
As a Music Mark member we receive access to many key benefits, such as their online MarketPlace which is full of resources and ideas to support the delivery of music.
Music Mark works to enable its members and the wider music education sector, to deliver high-quality musical and social outcomes for all children and young people.
We are extremely proud to have our efforts recognised and to be a member.
