Our Values
Be Kind, Be Resilient, Be Brave, Be You
Our Vision
At Farthinghoe, we are a whole school community. A place, in which children are listened to and encouraged to be curious. A place where everyone feels safe and supported. Our children are empowered to change their own lives and the lives of those around them. They are encouraged to stand up and become pillars of the community, have a voice and make a difference.
Through our school values of, Be Kind, Be Resilient, Be Brave, Be You, we will be good role models; role models who inspire through a love of learning and are motivated to make a positive impact on each other’s lives. Together, we will continually strive to remove the barriers to success and fear of failure.
We will provide a culture of mutual respect and acceptance. With children moving onto their next adventure with the skills and values to set them on the path to achieve their dreams. Our school community will take pride in leading the children of Farthinghoe Primary School on their journey - both educational and for life; enabling them to drive their own futures to greater success and shape our diverse community for the better.

Farthinghoe Values Poem written by Daisy Booker Year 6
Be kind, be resilient, be brave, be you,
Easy to say harder to do.
Be kind we often hear you say,
But what does kindness look like, during the school day?
Don't leave people out,
Because they will cry and shout.
Let your friends join in and play,
Let them borrow if they ask if they may.
Looking out for people younger than you,
Is one of the kindest things you can do.
Kind words are important too,
Because others will say, kind words back to you.
A smile, a hug, a thoughtful deed,
Will all be appreciated by a friend in need.
Be kind, be resilient, be brave, be you,
Easy to say harder to do.
Be resilient we often hear you say,
But what does resilience look like, during the school day?
Don't give up when the going's rough,
You can do it! You are tough!
Sometimes you want to quit, and shout I can't do it!
But you can, you will get through it.
Ask a teacher, ask a friend,
This will help the worries end.
Tell yourself you can succeed,
This is all you need.
Be kind, be resilient, be brave, be you,
Easy to say harder to do.
Be brave we often hear you say,
But what does bravery look like, during the school day?
Push yourself to try a new thing,
You never know what joy it will bring.
Share your thoughts, share your ideas,
No need to worry or have any fears.
Don’t be afraid to stand up for what is right,
Don’t let bullying happen within your sight.
Be kind, be resilient, be brave, be you,
Easy to say harder to do.
Be you we often hear you say,
But what does being you look like, during the school day?
Don’t compare yourself to others,
Listen to the words of your mother.
You are unique! You are special!
Never doubt your true potential.
Don’t be afraid to let your personality shine through,
No need to create a different or new you.
Be kind, be resilient, be brave, be you,
Easy to say, now easier to do.
Be kind, be resilient, be brave, be you,
Easy to say harder to do.
Be kind we often hear you say,
But what does kindness look like, during the school day?
