Our Primary School Sports Funding will enable us to continue and extend our provision through:-
The use of external PE specialists has allowed the pupils to benefit from professional coaching either on-site or at the local specialist gymnasium. These sessions have also provided CPD opportunities for our own teaching staff.
All pupils are actively encouraged to participate in the inter-school competitions organised by the Chenderit School Sports Co-ordinator. These events allow our pupils to take part in competitive sporting events to build up their resilience, stamina and determination to succeed. The number of pupils participating in these events has grown steadily over the last 3 years.
For the 2025/26 Academic Year we will receive £16,340 of funding which will be used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of all our pupils, to encourage the development of healthy and active lifestyles.
